PowerPivot error with OData feed error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required

I have seen solutions on forums regarding creating an excel.exe.config file.

But how do I create this file/type?

No experience with this directly in excel but generally, those files are just plain text files that reside in the same directory as the binary (excel.exe in this case).

I will try just saving as plain text file.
