Hi !

I'm just developing a new PowerPivot dashboard - the source tables all have a country field in them.

I want to create country specific versions of the dashboard where the users can't access the other countries info either directly or by opening up the data model and poking around in the background.

The dashboard will be issued to users so they won't have a direct link to the source data file. I could filter each table in the data model by country but there are numerous tables. Also I could lock down a slicer.

Is there a more elegant way?!

Many thanks in advance for any advice received :)

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Hi - many thanks for the info. However I'm just using PowerPivot/Excel so is there something similar I can do ?

All protection in Excel can be removed in a few seconds except this
go.png

it will take a little more time

but you can try Review - Protect Workbook - Structure
