PowerPivot link to sql server database or its import the data? My concern is that if i change data in powerpivot will it change data to my sql server database as it happen in ODBC. Second, does making query relationship in PowerPivot also creat query in Sql Server database?

Thanks and regards,

Nothing you do in PowerPivot will write back to SQL. PowerPivot will never modify the original source data in your database.

You also cannot really "change the data in PowerPivot". Can you be more explicit about the kind of "changes" you are referring to?
