Powerpivot Relationship

Hi
I have two spreadsheets that I have imported into Powerpivot.
Column A : On both spreadsheets have the same (codes ) but the secound file has a duplicate of the codes. ( Column A) ( Because its daily )
Basically the first file is Monthly figures and the second one is daily. ( Repeated codes in column A )
I wanted to do a relationship between the two, but it will not work.
Its says it must be unique.
