I have made a "template" for a Packing Slip my company will be using through Excel. What I want to do is, pre print this template through one of your printing presses (much cheaper than having to buy ink cartriges over and over for a printer) and so when the shipping department fills in the information they need to - only that info will print out onto the form.

I have tried setting "print areas" which is exactly what I need, but each line prints on a seperate page, so I end up with 8 pages with a few numbers on each of them.

Any suggestions?

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Welcome to the Board!

Generally what I do in a case like this for pre-printed NCR forms is use an exact duplicate of your form that can be used for data entry.

Then copy that to a new worksheet and set range references to ONLY the data that needs to be printed, and delete the portions of the form that will be already printed. It takes some tweaking to get everything to line up, but once you do you'll never need to change it.

Your users fill in the "on-line" form, but you only print the data portion, which you keep as a hidden sheet.

It's seamless to your users that way.

Hope that helps,

Smitty
