Hello,

I have a Excel file with 2 columns: name, state. Let's say there is one record bob|florida. I need to convert this spreadsheet to CSV...easy enough, but I need to convert it in such a way that for each record there is comma in front of every record, so coversion becomes ,bob, florida.

If I put a comma into first column which is blank and then convert to CSV, I get ",",bob, florida. Can someone suggest a solution for this problem?

thank you,
webtekie

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi -

Instead of typing "," from the first column which is blank, type

Code:
=""

Can you create another column on your spreadsheet and enter the following formula?

Column A = Name
Column B = State

In Column C enter =","&"A1&","&B1
