prevent opened file from updating links

Hi,

I have a file that is linked into 2 very large files. I have designed a macro that updates the main file by opening & closing the 2 files.

Now I need to prevent the user updating the links from the popup when the file is loaded. Due to the size of the files this could take many minutes.

This will suppress the dialog box asking on opening the file that asks to update links

Another maybe easier way would be, to go to EDIT-LINKS-STARTUP PROMPT and select "dont display alert and dont uodate links"
