I have a spreadsheet that I would like to put on a CD.
How can I keep the formulas from being seen or copied.
And allow the CD to be used?
The unlocked cells can and some times needs to be updated.
Thanks

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
You will need to lock and hide the cells and then password protect the sheet. Highlight the cells you wish to hide and then Go to Format/Cells/Protection and check the box for hidden. Then go Tools/Protection/Protect/Protect Sheet and set your password.

By the way if you only want certain cells protected the first thing you will need to do is unlock all cells and then lock the ones you don't want them to edit, but you will need to still hide the cells with formulas in if you do not want them seen.

Hope this helps
