I was wondering if it was possible to print a spreadsheet with the cell references inside each cell as a watermark style. I know it is possible to print with the row and column header information listed, which I have already done.

I would like the cells location B5, B7, E25, etc. appear inside each cell underneath the text entered as a watermark in light gray or some other light color that is easy to see. Is this even possible? If so please let me know what to do.

Thanks,

Robert

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Its not possible to do that in Excel. But what you can do is first print with cell references first, but change the color to light gray. Then reprint without cell references in black on the same sheet of paper.
