Hi!

I have got a new laptop-computer with a 15" SXGA+ screen
with a resolution on 1400x1050 (Win-XP) therefore I have
increased the screen dpi to 120 (125%). Now when printing
from Excel each line fills more. (each page contains 4
lines less than before (96 dpi on screen))

There is no problem when printing from other programs.

Is there a solution so it do not change size when
printing??

I have tried 3 different printer types with the latest
printerdrivers and tried different printersettings - with
the same result...

There IS a problem!! (an error in Excel??)

Best regards
Kaare (Denmark)

I am using Microsoft Navision C5 on the computer and with 96 DPI the text and numbers ind this program becomes very very small - and it is not possible to change the fontsize in this program - because of that 96 DPI isn't a option.

Kaare.

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
When I switch resolution it does not change my printing at all. Better make sure the printer drivers are setup the same on each maching when you open the excel file in page setup.

I have just talked with Microsoft Europe (again) - They have now confirmed that it is a bug in Excel. They will try to fix it in a comming ServicePack/update to Office.
