When printing to a PDF (either via MS print to PDF, or PDF Creator) the arrows in the spreadsheet are not printing as arrows, but rather as big black areas. This has not been a problem in the past, so I am figuring something has changed in Excel in the past year to cause these arrows to not print properly in a PDF. I have not been able to find any settings in either Excel or MS PDF or PDF Creator that changes the arrows. The only thing I have found that works is to remove the arrows and reinsert them with what I assume is a new "version" of the arrow. Attached is an image showing what the spreadsheet looks like before and after printing to a PDF file. Is there some setting that can be changed, or a way to universally update the arrows in a spreadsheet?
