Hi, I am trying to use excel functions to solve this problem but it is not working. Please help

Four relatives are going to give you money for your birthday. The amount each relative gives you is equally likely to be any number between $0 and $200. The chance that the total amount of money you receive is at most $300 is

How to solve this roblem?

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Dont quite understand the question - however I think you need to work out the multiple of $300 between the 3 relatives so each give $100 each - that's 1 multiple, 1st relative $50, 2nd relative $50 3rd relative $200 - that's another multiple and would make 50% likely. You should be able to work out a ratio somehow.
