Hello

I have a problem with duplicating a worksheet within a workbook that includes scroll funtions and dynamic chart calculations.
I downloaded this template https://templates.office.com/sv-se/Månadsbudget-student-TM02930047 (it's in Swedish, but don't worry) from office's webpage to make a budget which I have kept for 2016. I thought i could simply copy this sheet and start all over for 2017, but when I enter data in the 2017-sheet, it won't update like it did in the original 2016-sheet.

Further explaination:

worksheet in mentioned link let you enter your income and expenses every month, with a scroll bar connected to a dynamic pie chart, showing budget data for every month. This works all fine as long as I stay in that first downloaded sheet. However, when I duplicate this sheet into a new one, still in the same workbook, and enter my income and expenses, the dynamic pie charts wont update.

Tips for you who would want to help me:
1. Download the template, add whatever number in "Jan", cell D33 to D37. See that the pie chart changes and the "Jan inkomster" with it. Make sure to be in Jan with the scroll bar.

2. Now duplicate this sheet and try this all over again. Whatever number I enter, the pie chart wont change, as if excel still Count the first sheet.

I cannot get my head around it. I suspect there is some VBA och macro functions behind this, which I am unfortunately not skilled enough to know yet. And since I dont know the exact problem, i't's hard for me to find my way to the right post to read up about it.

I would very much appreciate your help
Best regards and happy new year
/Joakim

Hi! Have you already tried clicking the chart and updating the data source from the old worksheet to the newly copied worksheet? Perhaps this isn't updating.

Hello! Thank you for your reply.

I have tried to "update all" in the data tab (Connection section). This does not work for me. Was that what you meant?

Hi again,

Sorry I misunderstood your question. Yes, I have updated the data sources on the chart, but the problem is that when I scroll and "change month", the updated links only follows the cells i just edited. So for every month, it still shows the data I entered for January, If I do it this way.

Thanks

Ah I see, I don't know how to solve that unfortunately but there are much smarter people than me here :)
