Problem Querying a Memo Field

Hello,
I have a query set up currently that is grouped by Min and sorted descending on the ID field to get the last record entered into the log. However, when I do this, the "Notes" field which is set as as MEMO data type in the table only shows the first 255 characters. When I create the query without grouping and sorting, I don't have that problem. Has anyone run into this before and are there any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
I see what you are saying, I setup a memo field and tested your problem and the same thing happened to me.

I'm not sure if it is an Access Glitch but I checked the Ms Knowledge base and found this article related to the memo field with the same issue but by different means.

Using "Group by" is essentially an expression so based on the article it could be the reason it is happening.

I haven't tried the resolution yet but perhaps this will help you

Thanks, Ziggy for your input.

I restructured my query to be based of the open record on the form and that solved the character number problem.

So, problem solved!
