Problem saving a file

Every time i click on save button it pops up "save as" window option of excel and i have to create different file using save as option every time i want to save data. pls help me with this

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Sounds like your file is set to "Read-Only" meaning, you cannot save over it, you must give it a different name.

If you change the properties so that it is not read-only, you should be able to save the file with its original name.
(I re-read my answer and wasn't sure if it was clear that was what I was implying).

this also could be that you saved it as a .xltm file a macro enabled template, if you change it to a .xlsm macro enabled workbook that will fix your problem.
