Hi,

I have a problem sorting dates with excel 2010.
We have several computers in the office. One of the computer is the one that has issues. I´ve tried to sort the same file in different computers and this one seems to sort the dates based on the first two digits.

e.g.

31/01/2011
30/08/2011
29/08/2011
28/05/2011
28/08/2011

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Have you checked the system date settings on the computer that is not working as expected. If the working computers are set as dd/mm/yyyy and the non-working is set as mm/dd/yyyy you would get different results when sorting.
