Hi,

I've got a problem to reference a cell or range of cells in another worksheet in the same workbook.

In Sheet1 I've got text in cells A1:A7 and A9:A15 and in between in A8 I'm looking to get the value from Sheet2 which is B1.

Now if I copy down those 15 Iines I want to have:

Sheet1 in A23 the value from Sheet2 B2 but due to down copying formula looks at cell B16
Sheet1 in A38 the value from Sheet2 B3 but due to down copying formula looks at cell B31
Sheet1 in A53 the value from Sheet2 B4 but due to down copying formula looks at cell B46

Any idea which form the formula should have?
Many thanks in advance

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
