Problem w/ Subtotals

I apologize if this is a very basic question. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure it out.

Is there a way to make subtotals look at more than 3 "levels"?

Also, what determines what columns can be viewd in a level by level fashion?

Thanks so much.

no need for apologize. The subtotal wizard only has 3 levels. To have more than that you would have to use the Group/Outline. This is however manual. You select the group you want and then select Data-Group-Group click select Rows.
