HI

I never come across this before.

I have a spreadsheet with 27000 rows. In column B there are a mix of about 500 different account numbers. When I put on the auto filter on it did not pick up every different account number.

Has Auto filter got a max limit to the number of lines it can show??

Yes, there is a limit, but I'm not sure how many rows makes the limit. You could find it by listing numbers down an entire column and then see where auto filter stops.

Hi,

The drop down list in the AutoFilter will show a maximum of 1000 items. You can still use the Custom feature to work with the whole list. Also, the Advanced filter is another way to go, although it may require that your data setup be changed a bit.
