I have a serious problem when it comes to autofiltering.

I have imported some data from another sheet and try to use autofilter

a. I can select the exact value in the autofilter option, and it will display correct data
b. I can NOT select "Higher than" or "Lower than" (and similar choices), then nothing is selected.
c. If I double click on the cells (commit), then it seems that the content in the cell is activated and I can use "Higher than " etc.

Is there a workaround for this?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
I have used the formula =Value(Trim(Clean(A1))). But then I have to create extra columns.

Wonder if there are other possibillites using a VBA Macro perhaps.

Still struggeling with this one.

I have used a macro to clean and trim the data. I have also added some condittional formatting on each cell in the Date column.

The condittional formatting does only work if I double click (confirm/committ) the cell.
Seems like it need to be activated.

Is there a workaround here?
