Problem with Axis Scaling

hi,
i have a develop a macro that create a series of plots with the aim of setting an format to all of them.
I am jammed in the Y-Axis format because i want to set the maximum value to 20 units greater than the minimum one. Poblem is that as the min one is set automatically by excel the variable(member) Activechart.Axes(xlValue).MinimumScale DOES NOT contain the axis actual min value but a default value of -20.
Could anyone help me?
