Problem with Find Format

In Excel 2003, you can now find formats through the "Find and Replace" box. This is something that I've always wondered how to find cells that are formatted specific colors. This works great if you have formatted the cells manually. You can even list Find All cells across multiple sheets. This is getting closer to solving my problem.

However, my problem is that I am setting up conditional formatting. The Find Formats doesn't appear to recognize the color that is the result of the conditional format.

Is there any way to find all cells with specific color formats; for example, all cells that are formatting red?

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hello JROM, welcome to the board!

Welcome to the current perplexity that is Conditional Formatting. Short answer? No, not really an easy way to do this. Of course it can be done, but you'll need a workaround. Basically, either you can check each cell via code, or setup a seperate column/range to hold whether or not your condition is met or not, then perform a Find on this range.
