Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
I was looking for cell D4 to return "electricity" however, it is showing #N/A error.

What am I doing wrong?

Pedro

Hi,

I think you may be missing a 0 in your Match (the function defaults to 1) i.e.

=IF(B4="","",INDEX($F$3:$I$3,MATCH(C4,$F$2:$I$2,0)))
