Facing 2 issues with Pass through query using ODBC connection

1) Query times out - how to fix this?
2) Everytime it asks to select the data source - can this be automated
3) if I try to change any value in the script, it put some irrelevant characters and then shows any error on running - how to fix this

Please suggest

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
To fix the time out get the query properties (right click blue bar in query design and go to properties)

Default time out is set to 60. 0 will make this infinite.

For point 2 never came across this.

Point 3 is unclear. What script?
