problems upadting values in workbook

HNY all

I have a workbook A that gets updated from another workbook B that is a macro based work book.

The problem I have is when ever i open workbook A i get

#VALUE!</SPAN>

<TBODY>
</TBODY><COLGROUP><COL></COLGROUP>

in the cells that are linked to the macro based workbook.

I rectify the problem by simply opening work book B . This then refreshes the cells.

Is there something I could do to stop this happening in workbook A.
