Can someone help me with a formula to calculate profit and loss for my trading journal

what I want to do is if the position is short and if the entry price is lesser than the exit price then subtract the entry price by the exit price but output a positive number

Excel Facts

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Not enough information to give you a direct response, but I did build a Trading log for myself at one point. If you want, you can download it, look at the formulas, and translate them to your own sheet. You can also just use that log as is if it suits you :)
