Hi All,

Need help from the smart lads.

Goal: Gross Profit Forecast for the year 2021
Tricky Part: I need to identify based on his "start date" and "working pattern", I need a formula for "# of days working" column to identify how many days he has worked during the month.

Example given:

  1. Employee 1 started on January 1,2021
  2. His work type is 14 days on and 7 days off
  3. January has 31 days, so 14 on + 7 off = 21
  4. To finish 1 month cycle, he worked another 10 days hence row January in Column # of days is 24.
  5. Gross column profit is 24 days * base rate = $3,480

I would like to know the formula for "# of days working" column to automatically identify how many days he's worked based on given data (start date and work pattern) all the way from January to December.

Can anyone please assist. Thanks!

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
