Hey gang,

I go to open up an excel workbook, that has macros, which Ive opened up numerous times without a problem.....and the last time i opened up this book i did not make any changes other then type a number in a cell, then i saved...that was 10 minutes ago

I go back to open the workbook up....and it pops op..then i get this dreaded statement:

Program Error
Excel.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.
You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created

So I close excel....open again..get the same message..........so i restart my pc.....open excel...the go to that book,,,,,and i still get the message...so I open up a work book with the identical macros in it and no problem.....i open up other workbooks...no problems...so i go back to the one giving me the problem...i get the prgoram error window again!!

So i save the workbook to my memory stick....go on another pc....open it up....get the program error window still...so i copy the workbook and make it a different name thinking that would work...no luck....so then i go to properties and make it a read only....no luck........when it opened on the second pc i got eh disbale or enable macros box...i chose disable to see if that would work..no luck

Can this workbook be saved or am i screwed?!!?

Marq

PS: I am running Excel 2000...windows XP

Can you open it at all?

Have you tried opening it with Excel set to disable macros?
