Hi,

My first post on the forum so hello. I am comfortable with the basic functions of Excel but I'm looking for a bit of help on a project I have to complete which requires a more technical approach than I'm used to.

Basically I am looking to create a worksheet which has a drop down menu at the top containing risk scores 1-5.

When I select 1,2,3,4 or 5 from the list I would like a table to show the asset allocation for specific to that score and also to show a list of investments that would be suitable for score.

Obviously I have all of the data on the asset allocation and investments but I need some help in setting up the excel so it will show the data specific to the risk scores when selected from the drop down menu.

Thanks in advance.

Euan

Hi Euan and Welcome,

Does your data table have a field that ranks each row as having an investment risk or 1-5? If so, a fairly simple approach would be to use Autofilters.
