Hi All,

I've got a year's worth of hourly data (8760 points) that I'm plotting on a simple x-y chart, with the date along the x axis. I'd like to label the x-axis (which is dates starting Jan 1) as months (such as just mmm), but the only way I can do this so that all the months display properly is to set my x scale at 31, but this pushes the line for December a good week into the month (31*11= Dec 8). Any ideas how to set the scaling a little more realistically?

Thanks!

not sure if it's what youre looking for, but I've gotten past that type of thing by creating an extra series and labeling those data points instead of using the axis.

essentially, make a point series with (x,y) = (1stOfTheMonth,0), and label those points with the month names.
