Is there a simple way to allow a user to delete information from within a cell without deleting a formula within the same cell?

I have a formula that autopopulates information in a cell based on entry in other cells, but also need to allow a user to enter and delete info if incorrect without impacting the formula in the cell?

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for your help!

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

I'm afraid I don't get what you're asking. If the user is changing the values of the other cells, they aren't affecting the formula in the other cell at all. If you're protetcting the sheet, just lock the cell with the formula so they can't accidentally overwrite it.
