I am using Excel 2007.

This might be a novice question. But...I'm a novice.

I know how to protect a sheet, but how do I protect the macros/codes? Is there a way to deny the user the ability to even see them?

Either protecting or hiding is acceptable, though it would nice to know how to do both if it is possible. THANKS!

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

In the VBE Tools|VBA Project Properties|Protection tab. It doesn't take effect until you save, close and reopen the workbook.

In the vbe select Tools|Vb Project Properties
Select the Protection Tab
check Lock PRoject View
Enter and Confirm Password

Warning! Do not forget the password or you will lock yourself out

Keep a file backup without the protection on
