Dear all,

We need to protect a row or a single / group of cells within a spreadsheet.

How can we do this without protecting the whole sheet or workbook?

Yours Aye

Hi,

if you don't use the unbuilt-tools you will need some code to do this

why wouldn't you use the "normal" sheetprotection ?
the answer to this question is relevant to the code you can use

what do you want to protect ? cells with formulas only ?

what version of Excel are you using ?

kind regards,
Erik
