Protect single sheet

I understand it is not full proof, but what would be the code to protect a single worksheet in a workbook with a password. I don't want to hide it and then protect the workbook. I want both tabs visible and the second worksheet to be protected from seeing without the correct password.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Sheet you want PW protected:
right click on the worksheet tab, choose "Protect Sheet" & protect w/ password

I know, but when I do this rolled are still able to viewthe contents of the sheet right? I thinking I need vba code to preventthem from seeing anything without a password.

Haha sorry! Yea that dosent make any sense! My bad.


The first tab can be visible to everyone and the second tab can only be visible to person with the password. So I only want one tab visible 100% of the time. If they click on the second it will ask them for a password.
