Protected cells gets locked after closing the worksheet

Protected cells get's locked after closing the worksheet. I am working on the Attendance sheet where the user marks the cells with appropriate selection. The moment they enter the cell gets locked. Have no issues up to here. but the problem persists when I open the closed worksheet, then I am unable to mark the attendance.. Any help on this

You will need to unprotect the sheet.

Thank you for your reply..Is there any other way to workout without unlocking with password..Or I need to modify code to alter

If the cells are locked & the sheet protected, then you need to unprotect the sheet in order to make changes.
