I have a spreadsheet with several tabs - the main sheet is a 'stock sheet' that contains items, codes, cost etc and the sales price . A 'sales tab' picks up various bits of information from the 'stock tab' one of which is the items sales price (starting in C4 using this formula =IF([@[Stock Name]]="","",VLOOKUP(B4,Stock!$A$2:$E$40,5,FALSE))) - is there a way that if at some future time I decide I want to reduce the sales price, cells that have already been populated (ie sold in the past) will not change?

Ie sales price of xxxx is £19 sold in January - I change the sales price for February to £17 - I want the items sold in January to remain at £19 and not reduce.

Thank you for your help
Marc
