Is there a way to protect the VBA code from being viewed by others? Can I compile the code?

Thank you

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
In the VB Editor right click on the module name and choose the VBAProject Properties item from the list.

Select the Protection tab and tick the lock project for viewing.

Put in the password and confirm it.

This will lock the project against viewing.

Note that you will have to close the file in Excel and reopen it for this to take effect.
