Hi there. I'm using Excel 2003. I need to protect cells in my worksheets that contain formulas (which I know how to do). The problem is that I need people to be able to filter on protected sheets but the filters don't work when it's protected. Is there a way around this as I've tried everything?

Thanks guys.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
When you are given the OPTION to Protect (at same time as assigning a pw) there is a long list of other features that you can allow the users to be able to do.
Allow Auto-Filter is one of them. Get to that dialog box and scroll-down (it a ways down) and you will see it. Place a check mark next to it and you are OK
