Hi

Just remembered something else I'm having trouble with.

I've created a form that will be my front sheet, and will have all the buttons/ links to open up the forms, queries, etc.

I had to create it through the wizard as I wanted a nice background (if anyone knows of any other way to get a diff background I couldn't find one) so I had to put in a field then delete it.

However now when I open that form, it has record 1 of 2399 at the bottom, even though there is no data/ fields in there.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this?? Or else how to get the background without having to use the wizards?

Thanks again

Cath

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Hi Cath

Firstly, get rid of the binding that must have happened when you used the wizard (make sure the form is selected, not any of the objects on it, then view properties, Look on the Data tab and make sure the 'RecordSource' is blank). This is naturally based on the assumption that you are not using data binding on your form - if you need it then leave it, just follow the directions below.

Next, go to the Format tab of the properties for the Form and make sure that all of the following are set to "No": Navigation Buttons, Record Selectors

That should sort things out for you.

Cheers
Martin
