Publishing Interactive Excel to the Web

Hi all,

I have the need to publish an excel page or pages to the web through my website. Whilst having a static frame is straight forward, I am hoping to include the original functionality from the sheet. i.e. using the pivot table and pivot charts. I have spent hours searching for the solution, without success - any help would bge greatly appreciated.

I think it has changed on 2007 and 2010. From what I read in the early hours this morning, it seems Microsoft ruined what was a good feature in 2003.

If only I had an old copy of 2003 kicking about....

Hi Andrew

Thankis again - unfortunately when doing it this way it loses the interactivity of the sheet, such that drop down boxes disappear and graphs do not display correctly. There must be a way, its just finding it. I am now experimenting with Windows Live SkyDrive (unsuccessfully).

I need to do the same thing. Mr. Excel has some youtube videos which describe the process of an interactive excel website, which uses skydrive.

I remember watching the vid a few weeks ago but can't find it. In any case some youtube searching should help. If I discover, I'll post the links here.

Mark great. Would you do a favor and let us know how it goes? I want to publish an online "what-if" calculator. The calculator will look very simple to the website user, but the workbook itself involves many complex formulas and lots of data to crunch. So I'm concerned about the speed.

Once I get mine up I'll also post my experiences.
