I have a 2016 password protected Access database that contains a query that i need to pull the results from into Excel i have set the database encryption to legacy the issue I am having is that the query uses several functions that are defined in the Access database. when rs.open "select * from qrySalesExport", con runs i get an error stating that one of the named functions in Access is undefined. the query runs perfect inside of Access.

any help is appreciatied!

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Did you consider using Excel Power Query to pull in the data?
