Hi. This is my 1st post in a forum...so bear with me please. I need help!

I need to pull data to a new workbook from a single cell in a range of sheets out of an existing workbook and divide it by another cell in that same range of sheets from that workbook. I have looked and the closest formula I can come up with is this: =SUM('[January2014Fuelandmileage]5:11'!B57/'[January2014Fuelandmileage]5:11'!B116), but I am getting the dreaded '#REF!'.

I am not an excel expert by any means but usually can come up with a formula when I need one...I am stumped. If anyone can help, I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
What I am trying to do is take the total miles (B57, sheets 5-11) and divide them by the total gallons (B116, sheets 5-11) from one workbook and have the end result (MPG) in a new workbook. I hope this clears up any questions about my dilemma. Thanks, Jenni.
