Pulsating Excel Screen

1. By running Tushar's one-second timer macro "RepeatOneSec()", it works fine, yet the Excel Screen, the mouse Pointer, the task bar Ready, the macro Buttons, etc., "jiggle" or "pulsate" at random at or about the one-second intervals !! This is not only harmful to the eyes and stomach, but (probably) also to the monitor !!

2. This side effect has been observed regardless of whether the timer's associated Conditional Format cell formula is returning TRUE or FALSE. Furthermore, even with a new w/b and with the w/s has absolutely nothing on it (except the timer events), the "jiggling" occurs!

3. I've been able to convince myself that it is not a hardware problem, not a conditional format formula problem, not an Excel-version problem, and not an operating system problem. (for more details, you may refer to the Post Subject: Text Effects In Excel, Reply: Tue Feb 01, 2005 9:16 pm).

Has anyone encountered such "jiggling" problem in Excel and can share some guidance on how to suppress it ??

Any suggestions on how to remove this nauseating side effect would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I had tried that earlier as a logical first response (and again just now) with no effect!

Regards.
