I have an excel sheet of candidates list. what i want to do is that those who attended 1 times there will be as usual color, those attended 2 times are red and those who attended 3 or more than 3 times will be colored yellow. is it possible to do it??

Another question is i made a drop down list absent and attended. But i want them to be colored and bold. Can it be done??

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number

Yes.
Conditional Format.
Select the first cell in your column. Set up a conditional format rule.
=COUNTIF($R$7:R7,R7)=2
Copy the cell and then use paste special to paste the formats to the column.
That rule (formula) will highlight the second occurrence.
So =COUNTIF($R$7:R7,R7)=1 ; will highlight first occurrence
and =COUNTIF($R$7:R7,R7)>2 ; will highlight 3rd and subsequent occurrences.

Note: My sample range begins at R7, but it is the mixed absolute:relative reference that is important.
