Hi

Is there only me asking questions this week?

I'm fairly new to access so sorry if I'm not very good at this.

I have a field with lots of blank values in.

I have a query "Like "*" & [Enter Supplier Name] & "*"", but whether I enter a supplier name or not it only gives me fields that contain a supplier name (ie none of the ones with no supplier name entered)

If I add an "or is null" criteria, then it shows me the emtpy values even when I do enter a supplier name.

Is there an easy answer to this??

Would appreciate any help

Thanks

Cath

Hi Cath
I don't understand 100% what you want displayed if the user does not enter a name but maybe this webpage from Martin Green might explain ways of handling null responses.
