I have a list of years in Column A and a list of numbers in Column J. Z5 is a particular year and AA3 is a particular number. My goal is to count the number of times the numbers in J for a particular year exceeds or equals AA3. The following formula doesn't work.

=SUMPRODUCT(($A$5:$A$20000=$Z5)*($J$5:$J$20000>=AA$3))

Thanks,

ric

I used this function to solve the problem: =SUMIFS($K$5:$K$20000,$A$5:$A$20000,"="&$Z6,$J$5:$J$20000,">="&AA4)

Col K was filled with 1s; Col A years; Cell Z6 a particular year; Col J a list of numbers; Cell AA4 a particular number.
