Hi,

I wish to do following but am having trouble building formula. Can someone help please.

I wish to add 1 to a cell(count) under the following condition.
If a range of cells(on same line) have a value of a day of week (ie. "Monday", "Tuesday", "Wednesday", "Thursday","Friday","Saturday","Sunday") then add 1 to this other cell. Basically counting days in a month for a timesheet calculation. I am only counting the number of week days in a month. Does anyone know how to achieve this? Better yet is there already a spreadsheet template out there that displays days of week for recording time which is dynamic without having to go in each month and change days? If not then an explanation of how to do above will help.

Thanks and look forward to your help.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
