Not sure how to explain this but will try

using excel 97 will be run on excel 2000

I have a combobox with about 20 choices to choose from, when i make the choice i want another combobox which has about 40 choices only to show the choices that pertain to the first combo box.

example iin combo box 1 i pick cars and combo box2 would only show names that are cars
combox box 2 list would be list of cars and trucks

I think i would probably have to make a table or something?

Or is this impossible to do?

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
thanks

I looked at your thread, so what i take from this, it is impossible to do with comboboxes but can be done with date validation?

Are you trying to say that the thread is of no value to you? If you insist on using comboboxes, there is also a post there for that track.
