I hope you are well!

I am trying to create a formula that returns the answers "yes" or "no" from a range of cells depending upon the value placed in a range of cells. Please see excel sheet attached (problem explained on sheet - please feel free to give it a go). I have tried a formula like the following

=IF(cell range="did you vote in the 2015 presidential election? ","yes",in what party did u vote? IF(cell range="","No" why not? )) but this does not seem to work.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!

:If statement - yes or no.xlsx

Thank you
