Hello everyone, and thanks for all the help.. i am an excel newbie so pls forgive me if i dont use correct verbiage.

I have a excel list with about 26k rows for example (they are part numbers for random consumer items):

IBSS434816N
IBSVALH3037N10
IMP1525
IMP4020
JAGVW3036X

~ I need to match these 26k item part numbers with a file list of about 60,000 pictures of items on my computer: C:\Users\Joseph\Desktop\WORK

...i also need to separate my 26k from the 60k and put them in a new folder...C:\Users\Joseph\Desktop\WORK\26k

HOWEVER, the item pictures in the 60k file list in my computer are a little different compared the part numbers... it has underscores (some with 2 underscores and some with 3) and random numbers at the end.

I spoke with someone earlier and recommended me using a macro but with absolutely no experience with macro, only very basic excel, I look to you guys!!! thanks!!!

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
So... I know how it should be done but I dunno what needs to be done.

Could you elaborate on what should be where? and possibly give examples?

Moreover, are there any repeated part numbers' pictures?
